MediCompass® Honored at eHealthcare Leadership Awards
Organizations recognized at Healthcare Internet Conference
Carlsbad, CA , November 9, 2007 - MediCompass®, the flagship product of iMetrikus, Inc., has been awarded an eHealthcare Leadership Award for the fourth consecutive year. The eHealthcare Leadership Awards program was developed and first presented eight years ago by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends, a leading Internet resource published by Health Care Communications, Rye, NY.
Over 1,100 entries were submitted from a wide range of healthcare organizations in 17 industry classifications and MediCompass received a Gold award in the Best Care/Disease Management - Business/Process Improvement Applications or Products category. The MediCompass platform was judged on medical management tools and news and information available online to help consumers manage a chronic condition, two-way communication between patient and healthcare professionals, and opportunities to monitor clinical care.

MediCompass provides a shared interactive care record that begins as a Personal Health Record (PHR). It supports general health and wellness and can extend to address patients with chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes. The MediCompass application provides health self-management and tracking tools, secure messaging between individuals and their care team, care alerts and reminders, as well as uploads of objective health data.
