iMetrikus Names New Executive VP of Medical Science

Strengthens Leadership Team with Harvey R. Colten, MD, Former Dean of
the Medical School and Vice President for Medical Affairs at Northwestern
University

June 14, 2000 -- iMetrikus, Inc. a provider of collaborative health
management applications, announced today they named Harvey R. Colten,
MD to the recently created post of Executive Vice President, Medical Science.
Dr. Colten will also chair the iMetrikus Medical Advisory Board, consisting
of leaders in medicine and biomedical science from diverse institutions,
disciplines and locations throughout the United States.
Dr. Colten will be
the company's chief medical advisor in areas related to patient-provider
collaboration, delivering relevant and timely patient information, and
directing how patients and providers monitor and track conditions and ultimately
improve treatment strategies, adherence and health outcomes.

Prior to serving as
Dean of the Medical School and Vice President for Medical Affairs at Northwestern
University, Colten served as the Harriet B. Spoehrer Professor and Chair
of the Department of Pediatrics and Professor of Molecular Microbiology
at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Mo. Before that,
Colten was Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Chief
of the Division of Cell Biology, Pulmonary Medicine, and Director of the
Cystic Fibrosis Program at Children's Hospital Medical Center, Boston.
Dr. Colten is involved
in numerous organizations including the Institute of Medicine, the American
Society for Clinical Investigation, the Society for Pediatric Research,
the Association of American Physicians, the American Pediatric Society,
the American Association of Immunologists and the American Society for
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Colten is a Diplomate of the American
Board of Pediatrics, serves on the Board of Directors of the Oasis Institute,
on the March of Dimes Scientific Advisory Council, and on many other Federal
and private health groups that advise on scientific and policy issues.
He also served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Parents as
Teachers National Center.
Dr. Colten has been
on several editorial boards and advisory committees for leading scientific
and medical journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine,
Journal of Clinical Investigation, Journal of Pediatrics,
Journal of Immunology, Annual Review of Immunology, Proceedings
of the Association of American Physicians, and American Journal
of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology.
