iMetrikus, a leader in the field of healthcare technology, has an opening for a Senior Software Engineer in the QA Division of our Mountain View, California office. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer develops test plans against a web-based medical data collection application, and works closely with software engineers to provide programming supports for QA activities to enhance the agility of the product development process and efficiency of QA process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans and overseeing the definition of test cases for software and firmware products
• Design and develop automated functional and performance test scripts and tools to validate functionality
• Perform white box testing including code inspection and program proving
• Supervise sampling, inspection, verification, validation, and testing for the company’s product line
• Evaluate development and production capabilities and recommends improvements

Education and Experience

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field
• The individual sought should have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in software programming, testing, and software development lifecycle
• Prior experience in an FDA regulated environment
• Understanding of basic database concepts (SQL, ODBC, ADO)
• Experience in GMP, GLP, Design/process FMEA, Hazard Analysis, ISO design verification, process validation, and design validation.
• Ability to program in C#, VB.Net or Java
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with a variety of talented teams are a must
• Ability to review product requirements and design to create automated test tools
• Ability to interact with cross functional team provide/receive feed back cross functional activities
